Gather the necessary tools: You will need a flat head screwdriver, a Phillips head screwdriver, and a replacement side marker light.
Park the vehicle and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake to ensure the vehicle does not roll.
Locate the side marker light. The side marker lights are located on the front and rear fenders of the vehicle.
Remove the side marker light housing. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry open the tabs that hold the housing in place.
Disconnect the electrical connector. Locate the electrical connector that is attached to the back of the side marker light housing. Press the release tab on the connector and pull it straight out to disconnect it.
Remove the old side marker light bulb. Turn the bulb counterclockwise to remove it from the socket.
Install the new side marker light bulb. Insert the new bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise until it is secure.
Reconnect the electrical connector. Push the electrical connector back into the socket until it clicks into place.
Reinstall the side marker light housing. Align the tabs on the housing with the holes in the fender and snap the housing back into place.
Repeat steps 2 through 7 for replacing the remaining side marker lights.
Test the side marker lights. Turn on the headlights and hazard lights to ensure the side marker lights are functioning correctly.
