Open the trunk of the X5 plus.
Locate the access covers on the inside of the trunk lid.
Remove the covers by turning the screws counterclockwise.
Locate the tail light bulb sockets.
Twist the old bulbs counterclockwise to remove them.
Insert the new bulbs by twisting them clockwise until they are snug.
Replace the access covers by turning the screws clockwise.
Close the trunk.
Here are some additional tips:
Make sure the new bulbs are the same type as the old bulbs.
Be careful not to drop the screws or the old bulbs.
