Where are the jacking points on a 1999 VW Beetle?

The jacking points on a 1999 VW Beetle are located on the sides of the car, just below the doors. There are two jacking points on each side, one in front of the rear wheel and one behind the front wheel. The jacking points are marked with small arrows pointing upwards.

Front Jacking Points:

- In front of the front wheels, the jack points are located where the front doors and the plastic undercarriage tray meet.

- Place a jack under the car slightly behind and beneath the indicated areas.

Rear Jacking Points:

- The jack points are positioned slightly in front of the rear wheels, right near where the rear doors and the plastic undercarriage tray meet.

- Place the jack under the car slightly in front and below the indicated areas.

Notes:

- Place the jack pads carefully into position to avoid damaging the rubber or plastic sections.

- Park the car on a flat, level surface and apply the parking brake.

- Use a chock or wheel wedge to prevent the other wheels from rolling while jacking up the car.

- Lower the car slowly and carefully after finishing the work.
