BMW models up to 2005

- Front: sensor wire enters through a small rubber grommet in the brake dust shield between the rotor and the brake caliper

- Rear: under the rear seat, attached to the bottom of the seat rail

BMW models 2006 and newer

- Integrated into the brake pad itself.

- Sensor wire enters from the topside of the rotor in the back near the caliper
