1. Scrape off excess wax: Use a credit card or plastic scraper to gently remove as much of the wax as possible. Be careful not to scratch the surface.
2. Apply a small amount of denatured alcohol to a cloth: Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) can help dissolve the wax. It is important not to use too much alcohol, as it can damage the dashboard
3. Blot the wax stain: Gently blot the stain with the cloth dampened with alcohol, working from the outside of the stain towards the center.
4. Repeat the process if necessary: If the stain persists, repeat steps 2 and 3 until the stain is removed.
5. Cleanse the area with a mild detergent: Once the wax has been removed, use a mild detergent and a damp cloth to clean the affected area. This will help remove any residual alcohol and leave the dashboard clean.
Note:
Always test any cleaning solution in an inconspicuous area before applying it to the entire dashboard. Some materials may be sensitive to certain chemicals.
