1. Gather the necessary tools and materials. You will need:
* A new brake light bulb
* A socket wrench
* A flat-head screwdriver
* A pair of gloves
2. Prepare the vehicle. Park the car on a level surface and apply the parking brake. Turn off the engine and allow the car to cool down.
3. Locate the brake light assembly. The brake light assembly is located on the rear of the vehicle, just below the rear window.
4. Remove the old brake light bulb. Use the socket wrench to loosen the bulb socket and then twist the bulb counterclockwise to remove it.
5. Install the new brake light bulb. Insert the new brake light bulb into the socket and twist it clockwise until it is secure.
6. Test the brake lights. Turn on the headlights and press the brake pedal to make sure that the brake lights are working properly.
7. Reinstall the brake light assembly. Replace the brake light assembly and tighten the bolts until they are snug.
