The radiator drain plug is located on the bottom of the radiator, on the passenger side of the vehicle. The plug is made of plastic, and it is about 3/8 inch in diameter. It may have a small plastic tab on the top, or it may be flush with the bottom of the radiator.
Removal Procedure
To remove the radiator drain plug, simply turn the plug counterclockwise until it comes out. If the plug is stuck, you can try to loosen it by tapping on it with a hammer. Once the plug is removed, the coolant will begin to drain out of the radiator.
Replacement Procedure
To replace the radiator drain plug, simply screw the plug back into the radiator until it is snug. Be careful not to over-tighten the plug, as this could damage the threads.
