• Park your car on a level surface and turn off the engine. Make sure the parking brake is engaged.
• Locate the headlight adjustment screws. There are two adjustment screws on each headlight, one for the horizontal adjustment and one for the vertical adjustment. The horizontal adjustment screw is located on the top of the headlight, and the vertical adjustment screw is located on the side of the headlight.
• Use a screwdriver to turn the adjustment screws. Turn the horizontal adjustment screw clockwise to move the headlight beam to the right and counterclockwise to move the beam to the left. Turn the vertical adjustment screw clockwise to move the headlight beam up and counterclockwise to move the beam down.
• Adjust the headlights until the beams are aimed correctly. The horizontal beams should be aimed so that they strike the ground about 25 feet (7.6 meters) in front of the car. The vertical beams should be aimed so that they strike the ground about 3 feet (0.9 meters) above the ground.
• Repeat steps 2-4 for the other headlight.
