1. To access the oil filter, you will need to remove the oil filler cap and the engine oil drain plug.
2. Once the drain plug is removed, allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.
3. Once the oil has drained, replace the drain plug and tighten it securely.
4. Remove the oil filter by turning it counterclockwise until it is loose.
5. Apply a thin coat of new engine oil to the gasket of the new oil filter before installing it.
6. Screw the new oil filter into place until it is snug.
7. Replace the oil filler cap and tighten it securely.
