1. Park the vehicle on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and turn off the engine.
2. Open the trunk and remove the two plastic caps on the inside of the trunk lid, next to the tail lights.
3. Use a 10mm socket wrench to remove the two bolts behind the plastic caps.
4. Open the rear doors and remove the two plastic caps on the inside of the rear door jambs, near the bottom.
5. Use a 10mm socket wrench to remove the two bolts behind the plastic caps.
6. Locate the two plastic push-pin fasteners on each side of the bumper, near the wheel wells. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry up the center of each fastener and then pull the fastener out.
7. Gently pull the bumper straight back to release it from the retaining clips on each side.
8. Once the bumper is free, disconnect the electrical connectors for the license plate lights and any other accessories that may be connected to the bumper.
9. Remove the bumper from the vehicle.
To reinstall the bumper, simply reverse the steps above. Be sure to align the bumper correctly before pushing it back into place and make sure that all of the bolts and fasteners are securely tightened.
