- Turn the ignition key to the ON (II) position.
- Press the POWER button to turn the radio on.
- Press and hold the AM/FM button for five seconds.
- The display will show the serial number of the radio.
Step 2: Contact a Honda dealer
Call a local Honda dealer with the radio's serial number. The dealer can provide the code for the radio.
Be prepared to provide the following information:
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- Radio serial number
- Proof of ownership (e.g., registration, insurance, etc.)
Step 3: Enter the code into the radio
- Turn the ignition key to the ON (II) position.
- Press the POWER button to turn the radio on.
- Press and hold the AM/FM button for five seconds.
- The display will show "CODE."
- Enter the four-digit code that the dealer provided (using the 1-6 radio preset buttons) then press the AM/FM button.
Step 4: Reset the radio
- Press the AM/FM button for at least two seconds to turn the radio off.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Press the AM/FM button again to turn the radio on.
The radio should now be unlocked.
