1. Open your vehicle’s hood.
2. Locate the headlight assembly that you want to adjust. Each headlight will have an adjustment screw.
3. Turn the adjustment screw with a screwdriver until the headlights are positioned correctly.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the other headlight.
Here are some additional tips for adjusting your Honda Civic’s headlights:
- Make sure that your car is parked on a level surface.
- Measure the distance between the ground and your headlight center. Measure from the ground to the center of the headlight lens, not the top or bottom.
- The desired distance between the headlight center and the ground should be 25 inches (63.5 cm).
- Adjust the headlights so that they are level with each other.
- If you are not comfortable making these adjustments yourself, you can take your car to a qualified mechanic or technician.
