* Rubbing alcohol
* Cotton balls
* Soft cloth
* Plastic scraper
1. Soak the cotton balls in rubbing alcohol.
>Do this until rubbing alcohol is lightly dripping off of them.
2. Press the soaked cotton balls onto the paint transfer.
>Hold them there for several minutes, allowing the rubbing alcohol to loosen the paint.
3. Begin gently rubbing the paint transfer with the cotton balls.
>Continue rubbing until the paint begins to lift off. Be careful not to rub too hard, as you could damage the clear coat on both cars.
4. Use the plastic scraper to remove any stubborn paint.
>Be careful not to dig into the clear coat on the car.
5. Wipe the area clean with a soft cloth.
>Remove any remaining rubbing alcohol and paint transfer.
6. Apply a coat of wax to the area.
>Waxing will help protect the clear coat on the car.
Tips:
-Always test any cleaning solution on a small, inconspicuous area before applying it to the entire door.
-Avoid using harsh chemicals, such as acetone or paint thinner, as these can damage the clear coat on both cars.
-If the paint transfer is extensive, you may need to have it professionally removed.
