1. Gather your materials. You will need:
* A can of carburetor cleaner
* A hose with a nozzle that fits in the carburetor's air intake
* A screwdriver
* A wrench
* A cup of gasoline
* A small amount of oil
2. Remove the air cleaner. This is usually held on by a few screws.
3. Spray carburetor cleaner into the carburetor's air intake. Hold the nozzle close to the intake and spray for 5-10 seconds.
4. Reconnect the air cleaner.
5. Start the motorcycle and let it run for a few minutes. This will help to circulate the carburetor cleaner through the carburetor.
6. Turn off the motorcycle and remove the spark plug.
7. Squirt a few drops of oil into the spark plug hole. This will help to lubricate the piston and cylinder.
8. Turn over the motorcycle a few times. This will help to distribute the oil.
9. Install the spark plug.
10. Start the motorcycle and let it run for a few minutes. This will help to burn off any excess carburetor cleaner.
