1. Purchase the correct bulb.
Make sure you purchase the right bulb for your vehicle. You can find the correct bulb size in your owner's manual or by contacting your local Lexus dealer.
2. Open the trunk.
Once you have purchased the correct bulb, you can open the trunk.
3. Remove the taillight assembly.
On the inside of the trunk, there will be a small access panel that you can open. Remove the access panel and then remove the taillight assembly by turning the retaining screws counterclockwise.
4. Remove the old bulb.
Once you have removed the taillight assembly, you can remove the old bulb by turning it counterclockwise.
5. Insert the new bulb.
Insert the new bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise to secure it.
6. Replace the taillight assembly.
Replace the taillight assembly by turning the retaining screws clockwise.
7. Replace the access panel.
Replace the access panel and close the trunk.
Your rear sidelight should now be working properly.
