Location:
The vehicle speed sensor (VSS) on the 2000 Lexus RX300 is located on the rear of the transmission, near the driver's side front wheel.
Removal:
1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the VSS.
2. Remove the mounting bolt that holds the VSS in place.
3. Carefully pry the VSS out of the transmission housing.
Installation:
1. Insert the new VSS into the transmission housing.
2. Install the mounting bolt and tighten it to the specified torque.
3. Reconnect the electrical connector to the VSS.
