Where are the timing marks for a n13 Nissan Pulsar 90 model?

On the camshaft

- To be found underneath the black cap (on the front camshaft face).

- Line with the top of a raised metal ring.

On the crankshaft

- Front pully needs to be removed.

- Bottom cover removed (if required)

- Notch (or sometimes a keyway and a timing hole above it) in crankshaft sprocket lines up with the edge of the oil pump housing

Note

When the above marks line up, the No. 1 cylinder piston will be at the top of the compression stroke.
