Turn off the car and disconnect the negative battery terminal to avoid any electrical accidents.
Remove the center console by removing all screws holding it in place.
Locate the metal brackets on either side of the car stereo and remove them.
Gently pull out the car stereo from the dashboard by releasing the tabs holding it in place.
Disconnect all wires connected to the stereo, carefully noting the position and color of each wire for proper reinstallation.
Remove the stereo completely from the dashboard.
To reinstall the stereo, follow the steps in reverse order, ensuring that all wires are properly reconnected and the unit is securely mounted. Reconnect the negative battery terminal once the stereo is properly installed.
