1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Open the trunk of your car.
3. Locate the brake light assembly on the side of the trunk that needs to be replaced.
4. Remove the two screws that hold the brake light assembly in place.
5. Carefully pull the brake light assembly out of the trunk.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the brake light assembly.
7. Remove the old brake light bulb by turning it counterclockwise.
8. Insert the new brake light bulb by turning it clockwise until it is snug.
9. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the brake light assembly.
10. Carefully slide the brake light assembly back into the trunk.
11. Replace the two screws that hold the brake light assembly in place.
12. Close the trunk of your car.
13. Test the brake lights to make sure they are working properly.
