Where is the temp sensor on a 91 Chevy Astro?

The coolant temperature sensor on a 91 Chevy Astro is located on the intake manifold, near the thermostat housing. It is a single-wire sensor with a green connector. To replace the sensor, you will need to:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Drain the coolant from the radiator.

3. Remove the thermostat housing.

4. Remove the old coolant temperature sensor from the intake manifold.

5. Install the new coolant temperature sensor into the intake manifold.

6. Reinstall the thermostat housing.

7. Refill the coolant system.
