Where fuse box BMW 528?

BMW 528i (E39)

There are three fuse boxes in the 2000-2003 528i:

1. Front fuse box - located in the engine compartment, behind the right headlight

2. Rear fuse box - located in the trunk, behind the left side panel

3. Electronic Control Unit (ECU) Fuse Box - located in the engine compartment, on top of the ECU (on cars built before 2003)

Here are some tips for finding and replacing fuses:

* Always turn off the ignition before working on the fuse boxes.

* Use the fuse puller tool that is provided in the car's fuse box cover to remove fuses.

* Never replace a fuse with a higher amperage fuse than is specified. This could cause damage to the electrical system.

* If you are not sure which fuse to replace, consult your car's owner's manual.
