Where is hood release on 1975 450SE Mercedes Benz?

There is no release under the dash for 1975 450SE Mercedes Benz. If you are in the driver seat, look towards the right (passenger) side on the front of the dash. There should be a small slot. Just insert the key and hold clockwise to open the hood.
