1. Park the car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Open the trunk.
3. Locate the two screws that hold the tail light lens in place. They are located on the inside of the trunk lid, near the top of the tail light assembly.
4. Remove the two screws with a Phillips head screwdriver.
5. Gently pry the tail light lens out of its housing. Be careful not to break the lens.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the tail light lens.
7. Remove the old tail light lens from the vehicle.
8. Install the new tail light lens in the reverse order of removal.
9. Test the tail light to make sure it is working properly.
Here are some additional tips:
* If the tail light lens is dirty, clean it with a mild detergent and water before reinstalling it.
* Be careful not to overtighten the screws when reinstalling the tail light lens.
* If you are having difficulty removing the tail light lens, you may need to use a pry bar or a flat head screwdriver to help you.
