Low-Speed Adjustment Needle (L):
- Turn the adjustment screw clockwise until it stops, then turn it back out 1.5 turns.
High-Speed Adjustment Needle (H):
- Turn the adjustment screw clockwise until it stops, then turn it back out 1.25 turns.
Idle Speed Adjustment Screw:
- Turn the adjustment screw clockwise until the chain stops moving, then turn it back out until the chain just begins to move.
These carburetor settings are a good starting point, but you may need to make fine adjustments to achieve optimum performance. Please refer to the owner's manual of your chainsaw for detailed instructions on carburetor adjustment and other maintenance procedures.
