The fuse box is located in the trunk on the passenger side.
E46 (1998-2006)
Open the glove box.
Look on the left top of the glovebox.
You should see a black plastic cover with clips on the sides.
Use a flathead screwdriver to gently lift and pry off the cover.
The fuse box will be visible.
E90/E91/E92/E93 (2005-2013)
Open the hood of the vehicle.
Locate the black plastic fuse box cover on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
Use a flathead screwdriver to pry off the cover.
The fuse box will be visible.
E60/E61 (2003-2010)
Open the hood of the vehicle.
Look near the strut mount on the passenger side.
You should see a small rectangular box with a black plastic cover.
Pull up on the cover to remove it.
The fuse box will be visible.
E63/E64 (2006-2013)
Open the trunk of the vehicle.
Locate the fuse box cover on the right side of the trunk.
Use a flathead screwdriver to pry off the cover.
The fuse box will be visible.
