Are vehicles with a cracked windshield allowed to cross into Canada?

It is prohibited, and vehicles will be denied entry into Canada for the following windshield defects:

- Any crack longer than 5 cm / 2 in. or multiple cracks longer than 3 cm / 1 in. in the windshield within the driver's line of vision

- Windshield wipers blocked by an opaque area caused by damage within the driver's line of vision
