1. Park your Mustang in a safe, well-lit area and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.
2. Open the trunk of your Mustang.
3. Locate the taillight assembly on the side of the trunk that needs the bulb replaced.
4. Remove the two screws that hold the taillight assembly in place.
5. Pull the taillight assembly out of the trunk. Be careful not to drop it.
6. Locate the bulb that needs to be replaced.
- Turn the bulb counterclockwise to remove it from the socket.
- Insert the new bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise until it is secure.
7. Reinstall the taillight assembly in the trunk.
8. Replace the two screws that hold the taillight assembly in place.
9. Close the trunk of your Mustang.
10. Test the taillights to make sure they are working properly.
