1. Ensure that your vehicle is parked on level ground and facing a wall or other flat surface approximately 10 feet (3 meters) away.
2. Open the hood of your vehicle.
3. Locate the headlight adjustment screws. They are usually located near the back of the headlights, accessible through a small hole or slot in the housing.
4. Turn the headlight adjustment screws clockwise to raise the headlights or turn them counterclockwise to lower the headlights.
5. Use a flat-head screwdriver, Allen wrench, or a suitable tool to turn the adjustment screws. Some models may require a special adjustment tool.
6. Continue adjusting the headlights until their beams are properly aligned on the wall. The center of the beam should be at the same height as the center of the headlights.
7. Once you have adjusted the headlights, close the hood of your vehicle.
Tips:
- Make sure the tire air pressure is correct and the vehicle is carrying a typical load for driving (such as passengers and/or cargo) before adjusting the headlights.
- If you have difficulty reaching the headlight adjustment screws, you may need to remove the front bumper or grill.
- If the headlights are not aligning correctly, or If you have concerns or encounter difficulties, consult the owner's manual for your vehicle, seek assistance from a qualified mechanic or refer to a professional vehicle repair service.
