Where is the release button for gas cap on a BMW 325I series?

The release button for the gas cap on the BMW 325I series is located directly above the gas cap lever. The lever is located on the driver's side of the vehicle, directly below the trunk release button. To open the gas cap, press the release button with your thumb or finger, then pull up the lever. The gas cap will now be unlocked and can be removed by turning it counterclockwise.
