Locate the trunk release lever. It is located in the middle to the right of the driver's seat and below the climate control panel.
Unlatch the trunk lever using a flathead screwdriver. Insert the screwdriver or small similar object into the small slit on the right of the lever and move it upwards.
Pull the trunk release lever toward you. This will cause the trunk to pop up.
Place your hand inside the trunk and grip the convertible top latch lever under the convertible cover (the latch lever is attached to a cable).
Pull up firmly and simultaneously lift the convertible top manually from behind until the top is fully closed and the latch lever can no longer be pulled-up.
Repeat steps 3-5 on the other side of the trunk.
Close the trunk.
