1. Locate the bonnet release cable
The bonnet release cable is located in the footwell on the driver's side. It is usually a red or orange cable with a plastic handle.
2. Pull the bonnet release cable
Pull the bonnet release cable forcefully to release the bonnet. You may need to use pliers or a screwdriver to help you pull the cable.
3. Open the bonnet
Once the bonnet is released, you can open it by lifting it up from the front. Be careful not to drop the bonnet on yourself.
4. Locate the bonnet catch
The bonnet catch is located on the front of the engine bay. It is usually a metal hook or latch.
5. Release the bonnet catch
Push down on the bonnet catch to release it. The bonnet will then be fully open.
6. Close the bonnet
To close the bonnet, simply lower it down until it clicks shut. Ensure the bonnet is fully closed before driving the vehicle.
