1. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
2. Locate the two bolts on the underside of the front of the seat. These bolts are typically covered with a plastic cover. Remove this cover to expose the bolts.
3. Use a ratchet with a 12mm socket to loosen and remove these two bolts.
4. Lift the front of the seat up; this will disengage the rear of the seat from the frame.
5. Remove the seat by lifting it up and off the motorcycle.
