• A Phillips head screwdriver
• A flathead screwdriver
• A 10mm socket wrench
Instructions:
1) Park the motorcycle and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool down completely.
2) Remove the screws that secure the windshield to the motorcycle. There are four screws located at the top of the windshield and two screws located at the bottom.
3) Once the screws are removed, carefully lift the windshield up and off of the motorcycle. Be careful not to drop the windshield, as it is heavy and could cause damage if it falls.
4) Disconnect the electrical connectors that are attached to the windshield. There are two electrical connectors, one for the turn signals and one for the defroster.
5) Remove the windshield brackets from the motorcycle. There are two brackets located at the top of the windshield and two brackets located at the bottom.
6) Once the brackets are removed, the windshield is completely removed from the motorcycle.
To reinstall the windshield, simply follow the instructions in reverse order. Be sure to tighten all of the screws securely.
