- New transmission oil (manual transmission)
- Oil drain pan
- Funnel
- Wrench
- 10 mm socket
Step 2: Removing the oil drain plug
- Place the oil drain pan underneath the engine drain plug.
- Use the 10mm socket to loosen and remove the oil drain plug.
- Allow all of the old oil to drain completely.
Step 3: Add the new transmission oil.
- Use the funnel to add the required amount of new transmission oil to the transmission oil filler hole.
- The required amount of oil for a 1992 Honda dirt bike is typically between 0.7 and 1 quart.
- Check the transmission oil level by using a dipstick.
- The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.
Step 4: Replace the oil drain plug.
- Replace the oil drain plug and tighten it securely using the 10mm socket.
- Clean up any spilled oil.
Step 5: Start the engine and check for leaks.
- Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
- Check for any oil leaks around the oil drain plug and transmission oil filler hole.
- If there are no leaks, turn off the engine and you're done!
