Where is the idle control on 1998 Chevy Malibu?

The 1998 Chevy Malibu doesn't have a manually adjustable idle control like older carbureted cars. The idle speed is controlled electronically by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). There's no physical "idle control" you can adjust. If your idle speed is problematic, you'll need to diagnose the issue with a scan tool to check for fault codes related to the PCM, throttle position sensor, IAC (Idle Air Control) valve (which is controlled by the PCM), or other related sensors.
