The hard top on an 88 Jeep Wrangler YJ cannot be easily removed by one person. It's heavy and requires some effort and possibly help. You need to unbolt it from the body. There are no quick-release mechanisms like on some later models.
The windshield on an 88 Jeep Wrangler YJ does *not* fold down. It's a fixed windshield.
