How do you turn overdrive to off position on 1998 ford E250?

The 1998 Ford E250 doesn't have a dedicated "Overdrive Off" button like some later models. Instead, you disable overdrive by using the transmission's gear selector.

To turn overdrive off, simply shift the transmission selector to "3". This will prevent the transmission from engaging fourth gear (overdrive). You'll only have access to the first three gears. Remember to shift back to "D" (Drive) when you no longer need to have overdrive off.
