What does a front drive pulley do?

A front drive pulley, typically found on engines and other machinery, is a component of a belt-drive system. Its primary function is to transmit rotational power from the engine's crankshaft (or other power source) to other components via a belt. These components can include:

* Alternator: Generates electricity to power the vehicle's electrical system.

* Power steering pump: Assists in steering the vehicle.
