1. Check the cruise control fuse. The cruise control fuse is located in the fuse block under the hood. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage.
2. Check the cruise control switch. The cruise control switch is located on the steering column. Make sure that the switch is turned on and that the cruise control light is illuminated.
3. Check the vacuum hose. The vacuum hose for the cruise control is located on the back of the throttle body. Make sure that the hose is properly connected and that there are no leaks.
4. Check the cruise control module. The cruise control module is located under the hood, near the battery. If the module is faulty, it will need to be replaced.
If you have checked all of these things and the cruise control is still not working, you may need to take the car to a qualified mechanic for further diagnosis and repair.
