Locate the coolant level sensor, which is typically located on the side of the coolant reservoir.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the coolant level sensor.
Wait for the "Check Coolant Level" light to turn off.
Reconnect the electrical connector to the coolant level sensor.
Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
The "Check Coolant Level" light should remain off.
If the "Check Coolant Level" light reappears, it is possible that the coolant level is actually low and needs to be refilled. Check the coolant level in the coolant reservoir and add coolant if necessary.
