How do you replace a stablizer link on 1997 mercury grand marquis?

Tools and Materials:

- Jack and jack stands

- Lug wrench

- Socket wrench set

- Replacement stabilizer link

- New nuts and bolts

1. Park your car on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

2. Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels, but do not remove them.

3. Jack up the front of the car and place jack stands under the frame.

4. Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheels.

5. Locate the stabilizer link. It is a metal rod that connects the stabilizer bar to the control arm.

6. Remove the nuts and bolts that hold the stabilizer link in place.

7. Install the new stabilizer link. Be sure to tighten the nuts and bolts securely.

8. Reinstall the wheels and lug nuts. Lower the car and remove the jack stands.

9. Test drive the car to make sure the stabilizer link is working properly.
