Park the car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
Open the door and remove the screws that are visible around the perimeter of the panel. Some screws may be hidden behind caps or trim pieces.
Gently pry the panel away from the door, starting at the bottom edge. Work your way around the panel, being careful not to damage the clips that hold it in place.
Once the panel is loose, disconnect any electrical connectors that are attached to it.
Lift the panel out of the door.
You can now access the components behind the door panel, such as the window regulator, door lock, and speaker.
Installation tip:
When reinstalling the interior door panel, be sure to reconnect all of the electrical connectors and test the operation of the switches.
