1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.
2. Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shock.
3. Locate the turn signal assembly. It is usually mounted on the front fender near the headlight.
4. Remove the screws holding the turn signal assembly in place.
5. Gently pry the turn signal assembly from the vehicle.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the turn signal assembly.
7. Remove the old turn signal lens by carefully prying it out of the assembly with a flat-head screwdriver.
8. Insert the new turn signal lens into the assembly. Make sure that it is properly seated and that the tabs are engaged.
9. Reconnect the electrical connector to the turn signal assembly.
10. Reinstall the turn signal assembly and screws.
11. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
12. Test the turn signals to ensure that they are working properly.
