1. Park the car on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Chock the rear wheels to prevent the car from rolling.
3. Raise the front of the car with a jack so that the front wheels are off the ground.
4. Place a jack stand under the car to support the weight of the car.
5. Remove the front wheels.
6. Inspect the wheel bearings for any signs of damage, such as cracks, pitting, or flaking.
7. Spin the wheel bearing by hand to feel for any roughness or grinding noises.
8. If you feel any roughness or hear any grinding noises, the wheel bearing needs to be replaced.
9. Install the new wheel bearings and wheels.
10. Lower the car to the ground and remove the jack and jack stand.
11. Take the car for a test drive to make sure the wheel bearings are working properly.
