1. Locate the fuel filter. The fuel filter is located on the right side of the ATV, just behind the rear wheel.
2. Remove the fuel line from the filter. There are two fuel lines, remove only the fuel line that is closest to the rear of the ATV.
3. Remove the filter from the ATV. The filter is held in place by a single Phillips screw.
4. Install the new fuel filter. Apply a light coating of grease to the new filter's O-rings to help them to seal properly and then insert the new filter into the ATV's fuel line.
5. Reattach the fuel line to the filter and make sure you reattach the correct one or the ATV will not run properly.
6. Start the engine and check for leaks. If there are any leaks, tighten the fuel lines until the leaks stop.
