2. Remove the negative battery cable from the battery terminal.
3. Locate the clutch slave cylinder on the transmission bell housing, next to the flywheel.
4. Use the 10mm socket wrench to remove the two bolts that hold the clutch slave cylinder to the transmission bell housing.
5. Once the bolts are removed, use the pry bar to pry the clutch slave cylinder away from the transmission bell housing.
6. Unplug the fluid line by loosening the bleeder valve, located at the end of the fluid line.
7. Unplug the clutch master cylinder by loosening the fluid line on the firewall, located above the clutch pedal.
8. Remove fluid-filled clutch line from vehicle and discard.
9. Install new fluid-filled clutch line to firewall and slave cylinder. Hand tighten bleeder valve, located at the end of the fluid line.
10. Install the new clutch slave cylinder by reversing the steps above, applying clutch grease where the rod of the cylinder slides into the bell housing.
11. Fill the clutch master cylinder with new clutch fluid.
12. Push down on the clutch pedal and hold, have a helper crack the bleeder valve open slightly until fluid starts to drip from the bleeder screw. Close bleeder valve. Repeat until clean, bubble free fluid comes out of the bleeder screw.
13. Reconnect the negative battery cable to the battery terminal.
Test drive the vehicle to ensure that the clutch is operating properly.
