* Child locks are engaged: The child locks are a safety feature that prevents children from opening the rear doors from inside the car. If the child locks are engaged, you will need to disengage them in order to open the rear doors. * Door latch is damaged: If the door latch is damaged, it will not be able to properly secure the rear doors in the closed position. You will need to have the door latch replaced in order to fix this problem.
* Fuse is blown: If the fuse for the rear door locks has blown, the rear doors will not be able to open. You will need to replace the blown fuse in order to fix this problem.
