1. Turn off the vehicle and allow it to cool down.
2. Locate the license plate light housings on the rear of the vehicle. They are typically on either side of the license plate.
3. Using a flat-head screwdriver or other suitable tool, pry open the lens cover on the license plate light housing.
4. Once the lens cover is removed, you will see the light bulb.
5. Turn the light bulb counterclockwise to remove it from the socket.
6. Install the new light bulb in the socket by turning it clockwise until it is secure.
7. Replace the lens cover and close it securely.
8. Turn on the lights to test the new light bulb.
