This will prevent the window from accidentally being rolled up or down while you are working on it.
2. Remove the door panel.
There are a few screws located around the edge of the door panel. Once you have removed the screws, you can pry the panel off carefully.
3. Locate the window motor.
The window motor is located on the inside of the door, behind the door panel. It is usually held in place by a few bolts.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector to the window motor.
5. Remove the window motor.
Once you have disconnected the bolts, you can remove the window motor from the door.
6. Install the new window motor.
Just reverse the order for the steps 2 to 5.
7. Reconnect the battery.
Test the window motor to make sure that it is working properly.
