- Ensure that the vehicle has 3 gallons or less of fuel.
- Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position, with the engine off, three times and finish in the “ON” position.
- Press the accelerator pedal to the floor and release five times within five seconds.
- Turn the key to the “OFF” position and start the engine.
The odometer will read "RESET" for a few seconds, then switch back to the normal display. The maintenance light should be reset.
If the light is still on, you may need to take your vehicle to a mechanic to reset it.
